We’re in for a treat on a summer WEdnesday evening!

The TARNATIONS re-unites two critically acclaimed Chicago-based DIY songwriters in Gregg Yde & Dave Ashdown joined by bassist/vocalist Ron Lasken (Jimmy Burns) and drummer John Holoman (Mitch Easter), a transplant from the North Carolina jangle pop scene. 

The Tarnations bring a mix of earthy originals & old school rootsy covers by such artists as Taj Mahal, J.J. Cale, The Rolling Stones, Eric Claption, Jimmy Cliff & more. The Tarnations are dynamic and can play acoustic or go full-band electric.

”Saw the Old Fashioneds live last night at Sturdy Shelter Brewing in Batavia. It was the second time I’d seen them perform and they were amazing! Every song a hit, every guitar solo was killer and vocals by Pat and Marco just gorgeous. They are seasoned musicians with such chemistry after playing together for so many years. (25ish maybe? Must confirm) I heard them perform Norah Jones, Elvis, Fleetwood Mac, Tears for Fears, Shania Twain, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, I even remember some Flashdance, too! Check them out for sure!
